Good Day is a Korean soju brand, and it is one of the most asked-for sojus in our Doraville store. It comes in a green 375ml bottle, and we carry more than a dozen versions of it.

Start with the original

Plain Good Day is clean and slightly sweet, with no fruit flavor. It is the one to drink with Korean barbecue or spicy food, and the one to mix with beer. The fruit flavors are usually lower in alcohol than the original, so check the label.

How to serve soju

Keep it cold. Soju is poured into small glasses and sipped or taken as a shot. At a Korean table, you pour for the people around you, not for yourself, and you use two hands when you pour for someone older.

To make somaek, pour a little soju into a glass of light beer. Plain Good Day works best.

What to buy

If you are new to soju, buy one original and one lychee or peach, and compare them. If you are buying for a group, mix three or four flavors so everyone finds a favorite. The bottles are small, so it is an easy way to try them all.
